My name is Charles J. Orlando, and I’m an author and marketing executive in the San Francisco Bay Area. I wrote a book (which has created some controversy) entitled The Problem with Women… is Men: The Evolution of a Man’s Man to a Man of Higher Consciousness, and I’ve been an active blogger for the past few years (with a very nice following on this blog, on MomLogic.com, and on BettyConfidential.com… many thanks to all you readers!).

The Problem with Women… is Men is not a “man-bashing” book. On the contrary, it is an in-depth look into stereotypic men today and the challenges women have surviving with them and/or finding one that’s good enough to keep. It’s written entirely from a man’s point-of-view and experience, and based on 10 years of real-world research and 1,600 interviews with both men and women. Yes, there are are a number of books on the market today that attempt to contrast men, their issues, and how women need to cope. However, the vast majority of these works concentrate on either style of dress (and how men need to change vis-à-vis Queer Eye for the Straight Guy) or they focus on the concept of how women need to adjust themselves to understand men better. My humble notion was to turn that on its ear, and not concentrate on symptoms of wardrobe or how women should change, but instead on the problem itself—the behavior of men.
